  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name provided during sign-up (e.g., via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In).
  • User Content: We store the data you create within the app, such as your goals, game performance data, progress records, and life visualization attributes.

2. Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Purchase Information: If you subscribe to our Premium version, we process transaction information through our third-party service provider, RevenueCat, which communicates with Google Play or the App Store. We do not directly store your credit card details.
  • Music Preferences: If you use the in-app music player, we store your track selection, mute preferences, and playback state locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit any audio or listening data.
  • Cloud Backup Data (Premium): If you are a Premium subscriber, your goals, progress, and app settings may be backed up to Firebase Firestore. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Notification Preferences and Reminder Data: If you enable notifications, I Am Motivated stores your reminder preferences and schedules reminder notifications locally on your device. We currently use local on-device notifications for reminders instead of a remote push notification service.
  • Device and Usage Information: We may collect basic device, diagnostic, and usage information to help us secure, maintain, and improve the app.
  • Advertising Information: If the app displays ads, Google AdMob may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interaction data, diagnostics, ad performance data, and consent choices to deliver, personalize, measure, protect, and limit the frequency of ads, depending on your region and privacy choices.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our app.
  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process your subscriptions and transactions.
  • Enable music playback and remember your listening preferences.
  • Provide cloud backup and restore functionality for Premium subscribers.
  • Schedule local reminder notifications on your device, if you have enabled notifications.
  • Communicate with you, including sending you service-related announcements.
  • Personalize your app experience.
  • Display, personalize, measure, and improve ads in supported areas of the app, including personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads depending on your region and privacy choices.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with the following third parties to make our service function:

  • Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for backend services, including authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. For Premium subscribers, Firebase Firestore facilitates cloud backup and restore of app data.
  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.
  • Google Play / App Store: To process payments for subscriptions.
  • Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve ads in certain sections of the app. Depending on your region and privacy choices, AdMob may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads and may process device identifiers, IP-based signals, app interaction data, diagnostics, ad performance data, and consent choices for ad selection, personalization, delivery, frequency capping, measurement, reporting, and fraud prevention.

These service providers have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Advertising in the App

I Am Motivated may display clearly labeled native or rewarded ads in certain areas of the app. Depending on your consent, region, and privacy choices, these ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Personalized ads may be based on information such as your ad interactions, app activity, approximate location, and advertising identifiers where permitted. If you decline or limit consent, AdMob may show non-personalized or limited ads, or no ads when ads cannot be requested.

Where required by law, we request user consent for advertising-related processing and provide access to privacy choices through the app.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. You can manage your data directly within the app's account settings or by contacting us.
